ONE DISTRICT. ONE TORCH. ONE MISSION

October 2-24, 2026  |  Crescent City to Petaluma

Rotary District 5130 is bringing clubs and communities together through a symbolic World Polio Torch Relay supporting Rotary’s commitment to a polio-free world. The Torch launches in Crescent City on October 2 and travels south through District communities before the World Polio Day finale in Petaluma on October 24.

Participating clubs can use the downloadable resources below to plan, promote, photograph, and report their local Torch events. Each file is designed to be practical, customizable, and easy to share.

Have you ever imagined what it would be like to carry a torch in the Olympic tradition—representing hope, unity, and a shared purpose? This October, you have an opportunity to experience that excitement while supporting one of Rotary’s most important missions. Join the District 5130 End Polio Now Torch Relay by walking or riding a segment, carrying the torch, hosting a mile, or becoming a community sponsor. Every step, every mile, and every contribution will help carry Rotary’s promise forward toward a polio-free world.
