Local Rotary Clubs and Polio

The attached Rotary image announcement will be seen by local movie audiences before every motion picture—and average of five times every day—at the Roxy in downtown Santa Rosa and the Airport Cinema between Santa Rosa & Windsor. The total campaign will be on-going for the next six weeks of February and March. The showings at the Sebastopol Cinema will be seen for another six weeks beginning in March. It is estimated that the announcement will run approximately 9,000 times during those weeks on those 35 motion picture screens. The start of this campaign has been delayed for a few days because of unexpected circumstances at the movies. We will give you the exact dates as soon as possible.

A high definition file of the short announcement will be posted on YouTube next week. You will receive the same HD video that can be added to each Rotary Club’s website and distributed by any Rotarians to everyone they would like to see this message.

This is a joint effort by the eight Rotary Clubs of Santa Rosa, Sebastopol, and Windsor in response to a request by John Kenny, president of Rotary International, to enhance the image of Rotary in our local communities.
